Is Koalendar good for a coach?

Yes, for the scheduling part. If all you need is for your client to pick a slot without emailing you, Koalendar solves that and does it for free. What it does not cover is the rest of the practice: there is no client record with history, no contracts with signature, no invoicing, no built-in video call and no instruments to work with during the session. That means adding other tools.

What does Koalendar do better?

Four concrete things. It is free, and the free plan does not cap bookings. Its Pro plan costs 9.99 USD against 30 for CoachPro Tools. It sends SMS reminders, which CoachPro Tools does not: ours go by email only. And it supports multi-host and round robin scheduling, which CoachPro Tools does not have. Does CoachPro Tools sync with my Google Calendar?

Yes, both ways. CoachPro Tools appointments are written into your Google Calendar by a reconciler that compares the real state against what is already there and applies the difference, over a window of one month back and twelve forward. And the other way round: CoachPro Tools reads the slots where you are busy in your Google so nobody books over them. It reads times only, never the titles of your events, because reading titles would require a permission Google classes as sensitive and we chose not to request it. Can I use both at once?

You can, but there is little point: both do the same job on the scheduling side and you would end up maintaining two calendars.
