2026 Comparison

CoachPro Tools vs Coachmetrix

Coachmetrix barely competes with us at all: it measures coaching impact, and it does that well. What it does not do is run your practice. Knowing that before comparing prices saves a disappointment.

CoachPro Tools VS Coachmetrix

Start with what ties

Coachmetrix is built for executive and leadership coaches who have to prove results to a company. It is a serious, focused product. Where we overlap, we overlap properly.

The short answer

Coachmetrix describes itself as a platform for coaches to measure and track engagements: pulse surveys, 360s, behavioural change and ROI reporting. Its site advertises no scheduling, video call, payments or contracts. It costs 55 USD for one coach. CoachPro Tools costs 30 and also brings the part Coachmetrix does not cover.

What each one measures

Both measure, but not the same thing and not with the same instrument. This is the comparison that actually matters here, because the rest of the table is already known: one is a measurement layer and the other a complete platform.

Measures the impact
Coachmetrix
  • Recurring pulse surveys throughout the engagement
  • 360 with stakeholders from the client's organisation
  • Behavioural change measured continuously
  • ROI reporting to justify the spend to the organisation
  • Automated feedforward
Measures the work
CoachPro Tools
  • Goals with four pieces of data: unit, starting value, target and current value
  • Actions between sessions ticked off by the client themselves
  • A satisfaction survey from 1 to 5 with free text
  • 360 in the Organisations module, grouped by person assessed and rater type
  • 271 tools that leave a result and a PDF carrying your brand
They measure what changed in the person. We measure what happened in the process. The pulse surveys and the ROI report are theirs and we do not have them; the 271 tools are ours and their site does not mention them.

Where Coachmetrix wins

What no figure in the table explains

Comparing them on price is misleading, because they do not buy the same thing. Coachmetrix costs 55 USD for one coach and in return gives you a finely tuned measurement layer. But its site advertises no scheduling, no video call, no payments and no contracts, so you still need all of that somewhere else.

CoachPro Tools costs 30 USD and brings those four things plus the 271 tools — Wheel of Life, GROW, personal SWOT, DISC and 267 more — but has no pulse surveys and no ROI report.

The question is not which is better, but whether you already have the rest sorted. If Coachmetrix is your only tool, four pieces are missing. If it is your second, it fits perfectly.

Verdict

If you do executive coaching and have to prove results to a company, Coachmetrix is built for exactly that. The pulse surveys and the ROI report are not decoration: they are the deliverable you are being asked for, and we do not provide it.

If it is your only platform, add up what is missing before comparing 55 with 30: scheduling, video calls, payments and contracts do not appear on their site.

And if there are several of you, look at how each one scales. They charge 55, 100 or 120 depending on whether you are one, two or three. We are one account, with no per-person licences.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Coachmetrix cost?

55 USD a month for one coach, 100 for two and 120 for three. Annually that is 550, 1,000 and 1,200. Every plan includes unlimited clients and engagements. The trial is 30 days with no card and covers one engagement.

Does Coachmetrix have scheduling and payments?

Their site does not mention them, nor video calls or contracts. It describes itself as a platform for measuring and tracking coaching engagements. If it is your only tool, those four things you need elsewhere.

Do you have pulse surveys or ROI reporting?

No. We searched the code for both and neither exists. It is a real difference in their favour, and if your client is a company asking you to justify the spend, it is the difference that decides.

And the 360 review?

Both of us have one, with different scope. Theirs gathers stakeholder input within the individual engagement. Ours lives in the Organisations module, grouped by person assessed and rater type. You can see how we approach it in our guide to designing a 360.

What are the interactive tools?

Instruments the client fills in on screen during the session — Wheel of Life, GROW, personal SWOT, DISC and 267 more — with sliders and charts drawn live. When you finish they produce a PDF report carrying your brand that your client keeps.
