Choose and prepare the board

Check client and structure.

01

Open Session Kanban

Open In session → Kanban from the dashboard. Locate the client selector and board columns.

Open Session Kanban
02

Select the person in the board

Choose the client in Kanban’s own selector. This selector determines which local board opens; check it even if the common top bar shows another person.

Select the person in the board
If no client has been selected yet

General board lets you work without associating it with a record. Select the person before recording their agreements; changing the selection does not move earlier cards to another board.

03

Review the recovered board

Review column names and cards before adding contents. If the board is empty, check the selected person and whether you are in the same browser where you worked.

Review the recovered board
If the person is missing from the selector

Return to Clients and check their record. Return to Kanban and reload the page to refresh the available list.

04

Choose a structure

Open Templates and choose Session agreements, Weekly plan, Full process or Empty board. Your choice defines the columns; Empty board prepares columns with no cards.

Choose a structure
If cards are already present

The template replaces the current board’s structure and cards. Retain the previous state and read the confirmation before accepting.

02

Record agreements

Add cards and enter their details.

05

Add a card in the correct column

Select + Add card in the appropriate column. A card with an editable title is created; enter the concrete agreement and leave the field to record the change.

06

Check the card title

Review the text identifying the action. If New card or Untitled remains, replace it with a name that makes the agreement recognisable next session.

07

Open card details

Select the card’s Edit icon. Review title and description; add priority and due date when useful.

08

Use the date as a reference

Enter a due date if relevant and review the date shown on the card. This is a board reference and does not itself send a reminder. For record actions, use Clients.

Use the date as a reference
09

Save details and review the card

Select Save in the edit window. Review the title, description and indicators on the board card. Closing the window without saving does not confirm those changes.

Save details and review the card
03

Update progress

Move cards and adjust columns.

10

Move the card as work progresses

Drag from the card body to the target column and release. Check that it is in the correct stage. You can reorder cards within a column using the same gesture.

Move the card as work progresses
If the gesture selects text

Drag from the card body, avoiding its title field and edit or delete buttons. Check the result before continuing.

11

Adapt a column name

Edit the name in the column header and leave the field to save. The name describes the stage; renaming it does not automatically change its cards.

12

Add another stage if needed

Select + Column, enter its name and confirm. Check that it appears on the board and move the relevant cards there.

04

Retain the state

Review local saving and export.

13

Check local saving

After changing cards or columns, check Saved. The board is retained for the selected client in this browser; do not assume a copy on another device or publication in their space.

The Spanish and English versions retain separate local data. Return to the language you worked in to recover those contents.

14

Resume another client and return to the previous one

Check saving and choose another person in the Kanban selector. To resume earlier work, select that person again and review their board.

15

Export the board state

Select PDF and review the downloaded file. Check client, columns, cards and dates. Export organises the contents by column; do not assume it will have the same horizontal arrangement as the screen.

Export the board state
If no download appears

Wait for the page to finish loading and retry. Check browser downloads before repeating. Retain the local board while checking the result.

16

Share a copy when appropriate

Review the file and send it through the agreed channel. Moving cards, adding dates or downloading a PDF does not automatically send the board to the client.

Share a copy when appropriate
05

Remove what you no longer need

Distinguish deleting cards, columns and replacing the board.

17

Delete a specific card

Select Delete on the correct card and read the confirmation. Cancel retains it. If you accept, check that it disappears from that column.

18

Review before deleting a column

Select the delete icon in the header and read the message: the column and all its cards will be deleted. Move any cards you need to retain first. At least one column must remain on the board.

Check the result

The board is retained for the selected client within this browser. A date on a card does not send reminders or automatically create an action in their record.
