Connect and check

QR, official API and status.

01

Open WhatsApp and check status

Open WhatsApp under Between sessions. Click Refresh in connection status. No toolbar client record is needed to open this screen; choose a conversation in the inbox.

Open WhatsApp and check status
If connection cannot be verified

Click Refresh again when internet access is available. A checking error does not confirm that WhatsApp is connected. If it persists, check your session and contact Support.

02

Choose how to connect

The screen offers Scan QR and Meta official API. Before using QR, read the platform’s notice about unofficial connection and blocking risk. The official route uses Meta credentials; do not treat a screen description as an availability guarantee.

03

Link from your phone

Click Connect with QR. When the code appears, open WhatsApp on your phone: Linked devices → Link a device, and scan it. On iPhone, open Settings first. Use the code on your own screen, not this screenshot. Official linking help.

If the QR is missing or expires

Review the notice and click Connect with QR again. Wait for a current code and then check status; a started process does not mean linking is complete.

Enter official-route details

Click Use official API. Review Phone Number ID, WABA ID, number with country code and token. Obtain these details from your Meta account and click Connect official API. The token is a credential: enter it in its field, not in messages or screenshots.

Enter official-route details
If credentials are missing

The notice asks for Phone Number ID and token. Enter your account details, also review number and WABA ID, and connect again. Filling fields does not prove Meta accepted the connection.

05

Consult the guide and check connection

Open Step-by-step guide or How do I get this data? to review Meta preparation. External steps can change; check instructions against Meta documentation. Back here, click Refresh and wait for Connected before testing messages.

Review and reply

Conversations and manual mode.

06

Review conversations

Click Refresh under Conversations and choose the person by name or number. The list shows the latest text and Auto or Manual mode. Do not assume selecting a chat assigns it to the active toolbar record.

Review conversations
If no conversation is available

Check connection and refresh. You can test from another phone. The screen describes conversations from now on; do not assume the entire previous history is imported. Without a selected chat, the reply field is disabled.

07

Read the thread before replying

Check the header name or number and read the thread. Scroll inside the thread to review earlier messages; the reply bar remains below. If loading fails, reopen the conversation and review the notice.

08

Reply personally

Write the message and click Send or press Enter. Check that it appears in the thread. A successful manual send switches that conversation to Manual and turns off its automatic replies; it does not disable the agent for all conversations.

Reply personally
If sending fails

Read the notice. Text returns to the field for review. Check connection and recipient before retrying, and review the thread to avoid repeating a message that may already have been sent.

Stay in control

Automation and disconnection.

09

Choose Auto or Manual for this chat

Use Automatic reply in the header. Off means you reply personally. On allows the agent to reply if it is also active and configured. Check the list mode; if updating fails, the switch returns to its previous state.

10

Distinguish connection from an active agent

Connected is the connection status reported by this screen. AI configuration and activation are separate under WhatsApp agent. Enabling Auto for a chat does not itself create a reply or confirm a booking.

11

Disconnect when needed

Click Disconnect and read the confirmation. Cancel retains the connection. If you accept, check status again; disconnecting is different from disabling AI or setting one conversation to Manual.

Disconnect when needed

Check the result

Check connection status and each conversation’s mode. Seeing a sent message does not confirm that the person has read it.
