01

Choose the client

Check the person before writing.

01

Open Client workspace

Open Client workspace from the support tools. Its tabs are Summary, Notes, Tasks, Timeline and Files. Opening it does not share its content with the client.

Open Client workspace
02

Select the client on this screen

Use the workspace selector and check the header name and details. Selecting someone in the shared toolbar does not replace this selector. Check before writing.

Select the client on this screen
If no client is selected

Select someone before adding tasks, events or files. Without a client, a warning appears. Notes are not saved without a selection either: do not write with the intention of assigning them later.

If no client is selected
If the selector contains no clients

Open the dashboard and Clients list in this browser, then reload the workspace. The selector uses the locally available list; update it if you just created a record.

02

Prepare and record work

Summary, notes, tasks and events.

03

Review the summary

Under Summary, review pending tasks, events, files and last update. Click a recent task or event to open its tab. These are workspace items rather than the client record’s entire history.

Review the summary
04

Write working notes

Open Notes and write in the editor. Use bold, italic, headings, lists, quotes or dividers when useful. With a selected client, changes save locally after a short pause; wait before switching people.

05

Add a task

Under Tasks, enter the action and click + Add or press Enter. It appears under Pending. Use a checkable action, such as Prepare Monday’s agenda.

Add a task
06

Update task status

Drag the card to In Progress or Completed and check its position. Summary counts unfinished tasks as pending. The × deletes directly; marking Completed retains the task.

07

Record a workspace event

Under Timeline, enter the event, check its date and click + Add or press Enter. A blank date uses today. Events appear newest first; this list belongs to the workspace.

03

Keep references and review

Links and local data.

08

Save a file link

Under Files, enter a name and URL and click + Add. This saves a reference without uploading the file. Check that the link opens and the external service permits the required access.

Save a file link
If a field is missing or the address is invalid

Enter both name and URL; the address must begin with http:// or https://. Correcting it does not change external file permissions.

09

Open or remove a reference

Click the URL to open it in another tab. The × removes the reference without deleting the external file. Tasks and events also delete without confirmation: check what needs retaining first.

10

Check the client when switching

Wait for saving to finish and select another person. Check header and content. Return to the first client to review their data; one client’s items do not transfer to another.

Keep copies of important information

Data is local to this browser and language version. Do not assume synchronisation with another device, the client record or portal. Workspace Timeline and the Client timeline tool are separate. If data is missing, check browser, language and person; keep copies before clearing browser data.

Check the result

Check the client and keep copies of important information. This workspace is separate from the portal the client accesses through a link.
