Open the builder
In the sidebar, open Tools → Tool builder. You will find the new tool form and tool lists below it.
Create a tool with a scale, dimensions and questions, check its result and assign it to your clients.
Complete the definition · Save and check · Manage tools and clients · Complete an assigned tool
Each question must be linked to a dimension.
In the sidebar, open Tools → Tool builder. You will find the new tool form and tool lists below it.
Complete Title with a name identifying the tool, up to 120 characters. This is required. The example uses a team motivation questionnaire.
In Author, enter the name to display with the title. You may leave it blank.
In Scale, enter whole numbers: a minimum of 0 or more and a maximum greater than the minimum, up to 10. For example, minimum 1 and maximum 5.
In Labels, separate options with commas, ordered from minimum to maximum. For a 1–5 scale, you can enter: Never, Rarely, Sometimes, Often, Always. Check that each value has the intended label.
In Chart, choose Bars, Radar or Bars + radar. Radar requires at least three dimensions; if your tool has fewer, choose bars so the result has a visible chart.
In Visibility, choose Private to keep it in your list or Shared to include it in the community list too. Visibility and client assignment are separate actions.
In Styles, enter each group name and use the add button for more rows. This is optional. Use a row’s × to remove it.
In Dimensions, enter at least one name. Add rows as needed and, if you created styles, select the group for each dimension. Use distinct, recognisable names.
In Questions, enter the wording and select its dimension. Add rows for the remaining questions. At least one complete question is required. If you rename or remove a dimension, check the selections again.
A question without text or a dimension is discarded when saving. Complete both fields or remove the row with ×; do not rely on saving to warn about every omitted row.
In Levels, complete Up to, the title and the interpretation text. Up to is the upper average threshold for that level. Define thresholds from low to high and cover the scale maximum. You may leave the block without levels.
A level without a threshold, title or text is discarded when saving. Complete all three or remove that row.
Review rows and try the tool before assigning it.
Review the title, scale, dimensions, questions and levels. Select Save tool. Confirmation indicates it was created and the list refreshes. Saving creates a new tool; it does not update another tool in the list.
If the message reports incomplete data, check the title, at least one named dimension and a question with text and a valid dimension. Also check the scale and length limits. If there is a connection error, wait and check the list before saving again.
In My tools, find the title and select Open. Check the questions, labels and result with test answers before assigning it to a client.
Open, assign, unassign or delete from the list.
On your tool’s row, select Assign. The client list opens with an action beside each name.
Create or check the record in Clients and reopen Assign. A saved private tool may remain without assigned clients until you choose to use it.
Select Assign beside the correct client. Wait for confirmation and check that it changes to Remove. The action is saved immediately; Cancel closes the window and does not undo a confirmed assignment.
In the same window, select Remove beside the client. Check confirmation and that Assign returns. Use this action to remove that tool from the person’s space.
In Created by coaches, review the title and author and select Open to use it. This screen’s Assign and Delete controls apply to your own tools.
In My tools, select Delete on the relevant row. Read the browser confirmation: accept to delete or cancel to keep it. Then check the list. This deletes the tool, rather than just one assignment.
This sequence is for the client opening it from their space.
The client opens their space and selects the assigned tool. They must choose one scale answer for every question. The counter shows how many are complete.
Once every question has an answer, View result becomes enabled. If it remains disabled, find the unanswered question and choose an option.
Select View result. Averages and configured charts appear, along with level interpretation if defined. Bars summarise styles, or dimensions if there are no styles; radar compares dimensions.
From the tool opened through the space link, select Send to coach. Wait for confirmation: the button disappears when sending completes. If it fails, check your connection and try again. Viewing the result alone does not replace this action.
Check that the saved tool contains all intended questions. When assigning it, check that the client button changes to Remove and confirmation appears.
