About me

I have coordinated the Student Leadership Academy at South Texas College since 2017, and I mentor staff who want to lead more or move up. We start with your strengths and goals, then build a written plan you own. Sessions build one skill at a time from Kouzes and Posner's Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership. You try it at work, and we review what happened. You leave with a clear next step, habits that keep you on track and a sharper picture of the role you want. I hold a master's degree in organizational leadership and am certified in StrengthsFinder and DISC. I am also a trained career consultant.
