01

Set up your bookings

Enable your page and set when appointments can be booked.

01

Open Bookings

In the sidebar, under Your day, select Bookings.

Your public booking page settings open.

Bookings in the sidebar.
02

Enable public bookings

Tick Enable public bookings.

Complete the following steps and click Save bookings to apply the change.

To disable public bookings later, untick this checkbox and save.

Save with this checkbox ticked to enable bookings.
03

Choose your link name

Under Your booking link, enter the last part of your address. Use lowercase letters, numbers or hyphens.

Example: laura-mitchell.

The full link appears below. If saving shows that the name is already in use, choose another one and save again.

Enter your link name after the fixed address.
04

Select your time zone

Open Time zone and select the time zone you will use for your availability.

Enter your weekly hours in that time zone. This example uses United Kingdom (London).

Choose the reference time zone for your availability.
If you have not chosen a time zone

If you try to save, this message appears and your settings are not saved. Click OK, return to the dropdown, select your time zone and click Save bookings.

If you have not chosen a time zone
05

Set how far ahead people can book

In Window (days), enter how many days ahead you want to offer appointments.

With 30, the page looks for availability within the next 30 days. This sets the booking window; it does not create available times by itself.

Booking window: 30 days in this example.
06

Set the minimum notice

In Minimum notice (h), enter how many hours must remain between booking and the appointment’s start.

With 4, appointments starting in less than four hours are not offered.

Minimum notice is entered in hours.
07

Allow a gap between appointments

In Buffer (min), enter the gap you need around existing appointments.

With 10, a ten-minute gap is allowed. With 0, no extra gap is added.

The gap between appointments is entered in minutes.
08

Choose the start-time interval

Under Offer start times every, choose the start-time interval: the appointment’s duration, 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour.

The whole appointment must fit within your availability. For example, in a 17:30–19:00 window, a 60-minute appointment with 30-minute intervals can start at 17:30 or 18:00, if nothing else blocks those times.

The start-time interval does not change the appointment’s duration.
09

Enter your weekly availability

Enter your available hours in each day’s row. Use the 24-hour format: 09:00-13:00.

For two separate periods, use a comma: 09:00-13:00, 15:00-18:00.

If you have not entered any hours yet: fill in at least one day. An empty row means that day is unavailable.

Each row represents one day of the week.
If a time range cannot be saved

The message identifies the discarded range. In this example, 18:00-09:00 ends before it starts. Click OK, correct that row and save again. Check the remaining ranges too.

02

Create an appointment type

Specify which session can be booked and how long it lasts.

10

Enter the name, duration and description

Under Appointment types, complete the fields from left to right:

  • Name: how the session will be identified. Example: “Coaching session”.
  • Duration: its length in minutes. Example: 60.
  • Description: a short explanation of the session. This is optional.

Click Add. The type is saved and appears in the list. If the name is missing, enter it before clicking again.

Complete the fields and click Add.
If you do not have any appointment types yet

This message appears in the list. Complete the fields below it and click Add. An appointment type is needed so the person can choose what to book.

If you do not have any appointment types yet
Check that the type appears in the list

Check the name and the number of minutes. To add another type, fill in the fields again. Add saves the appointment type separately from your weekly availability.

11

Give an appointment type its own hours

In Appointment types, each type shows whether it uses the general hours or own hours. Click Hours on the type you want: the seven days open with the same ranges as the weekly availability, for example 12:00-14:00.

Enter that type’s ranges and click Save hours. An empty day means that type is not offered that day. Your booking page shows only the slots inside that type’s hours, and the booking is checked again when it is confirmed.

Own hours for an appointment type.
If you want to go back to the general hours

Open Hours on that type and click Use the general hours. The type follows the weekly availability again.

If you want to go back to the general hours
If your account is AppSumo without White Label

Own hours per type are part of White Label. Without it, every type uses the general hours.

In the appointment type you created, enter a short name, such as session. Click outside the field to save the change.

04

Check the client’s booking journey

Open the link to review the screens the person booking will see.

15

Review the appointment selection

Open your general booking link. The person booking sees the appointment types you created, with their duration and description.

Select a type to view its available times.

If no client is selected yet: you do not need to assign one on this screen. The person enters their details when confirming.

The public page shows the available appointment types.
16

Choose an available day and time

Select an available calendar day, then choose one of the times shown below it.

The time zone above the calendar comes from the visitor’s browser. Check it when reviewing the page.

If no times appear: return to Bookings and review availability, duration, minimum notice, booking window and buffer. Also check whether appointments or blocks in Schedule occupy those times.

Select the day first, then the time.
17

Complete the booking details

The person reviews the appointment and enters their Name and Email. They can also add a phone number and a note, then click Confirm booking.

If they are not registered in Clients yet: when processing the booking, the platform looks for a record in your account by email. If none is found, it creates a record using the submitted details and links the appointment.

If you are only checking the journey, finish your review before confirming.

Example using fictional details for the person booking.
Check the booking confirmation

The screen shows Booking confirmed!. The person can check their email for the appointment details and calendar file. If an error appears, read the message and address it before trying to confirm again.
